About the Future

I aspire to greatness, and I'm very modest too :) .

Here is "The Plan":

School:
  1. Finish this semester with 3.8 GPA or better
  2. Be succesful in my one year of Study Abroad
  3. Ace the LSAT
  4. Finish my International Studies degree with a 3.75 GPA or better
  5. Get accepted to an Ivy League Law School (preferably Harvard)

Flying:

  1. Finish my IFR rating by the end of 2009
  2. Get my single/multi engine commercial license by the end of 2010
  3. My instructor license in the first quarter of 2011

Politics:

  1. Get elected in to the state senate by mid 30 s
  2. Congress - maybe
  3. Senate - in my early 50s

It will be almost impossible to do both politics and an airline pilot career. But I like to have different options, my airline pilot career is conditional to me being healthy ... I don't want to find myself in a situation where I will have to retire in my 40s and starve to death.

The Ivy League plan is a way to test myself, and my commitment. I will probably not attend unless I get a full scholarship (junior pilots don't make enough money to afford Harvard Law)
